Jim,

When I purchased my boat, the previous owner left a home made mast cruch
(steel) sit in a wet cockpit for a season or two.? Needless to say the rust
stains?were?large and deep.? It?took me over a month to finally remove them.? I
used CLR everyday and a stiff bristle brush.??I would pour a little on the rust
spot and let it sit overnight.? In the morning I would add a little more CLR
and scrub.? I would then add a little more CLR and let it sit all day.? In the
evening, I would add a little more CLR and srub.? I did this for a month and
eventually the rust stains were removed, but I still have a little shadowing
from?the deepest stains.? All in all it worked well........slow but steady.

Ahoy Skippers

Happy New Year

The Pelican is close to "fully found and in Bristol condition"

Just have some rust stains in the non-skid fiberglass.

Any of you skippers know how to remove the stains?
