Lou, One additional comment. If I plan on sailing with 1- 3 guests I will put a 5 gallon jug of water at the far end of the v berth (as a counter weight) so the stern doesn't squat so much and any water in the cockpit drains out a little quicker. It does sail better with this configuration. When I was motoring around with 6 people in/on my M15 3 or 4 of them were on the deck. The boat was extremely squirrly and seemed in danger of rolling over on a turn so I had to move some people back to the cabin and deck. I once saw a youtub video of 5 people horsing around on the deck of light weight 25ft boat (McGregor?). Two of them grabbed the arms and legs of another person and proceeded to swing the person back and forth to throw her a long way from the boat. The entire boat broached right at the dock.
