Gilbert,
I have a really good design for a kickup on my 17 and the guy that makes
them is VERY reasonable, top quality construction, and a lot less than
Idasailor and work just as well.....if interested, let me know and I can send
pics of it and his address.

Just a question.. This weekend I was looking at a parked Catalina 22 on a
trailer and I saw its rudder and I thought mmmmm I wonder if this would fit
my M-17 w the broken rudder. The pintles were not adjustable but I probably
could adjust the gudgeons on the boat, it was a nice kick up design and it
looked like it would work w/o major mods. Anybody gone down this road?

  Bob:
I made a photo of the stock, older Idasailor kickup, and new
Idasailor kickup rudders. I can email you a copy if you like.

We can't change the wind, but we can trim our sails.
