Hi Folks: Like Tim, I've also wanted a boat with more cabin, but I'm not gonna give up my M17 for awhile. She's definitely the best sailer I've ever owned (not that there have been that many)
But I'm surprised the discussion didn't include the Balboas. Lyle designed the 20, 26, and 27, I think, and while they were aimed at a different type of market & built to different standards... still, being designed by Lyle I'll bet they sail better than most. Of course, a Norsea is going to be my reward in heaven, but earthly realities prevent my ownership anytime before then. Balboas can... in theory... be had by a mortal, however. Anyone have any experience with them, good/bad/otherwise?
