Doug, Thanks. I have owned various sailboats over the years. I have owned a Hunter 430 for the last 10 years which wintered in George Town one year and next four winters in Belize. This all sounds like I have done nothing but gone sailing but unfortunately that's not the case. We sailed the boat to Belize from Key West and then I firgured out how to get down and sail at least one week a month during the winter. Then of course we had to sail it back in the spring. She got some damage in Hurricane Charlie which is fixed and we have just done some costal sailing since the repair. The boat is now at Charlotte Harbor at Burnt Store Marina. I found all the shallow water an attraction in that area but of course I couldn't get to any of it in my boat so I decided to go small. I decided on the Montogomery some time ago but have just got around to ordering one. I kept thinking one might show up for sale in the area but it didn't unless I missed the ad somehow which is likely I guess. I am getting old fast it seems and there are a lot of places I would like to go sailing. I figure I can get to them at 65 MPH faster than 7 knots and don't have to fool with water makers, generators, weather faxs, SSB's and ect. More than 50 words I'm sure but's that's my story. Flying Scott and Laser are the only small boat I have previously owned and sailed.

We generally do a 3 day to 1 week cruise on the Chesapeake Bay and another 1 - 2 week cruise north or south of the Chesapeake. This year my time early in the year is limited so the Chesapeake cruise will not be a one week affair but will likely be a 4 day, Friday through Monday cruise. I am having some thoughts about a cruise in the Florida Everglades between Thanksgiving and Christmas but it is to far away to commit to.
