My wife and I are going to put in on Lake Washington the morning of the 4th. We plan to spend the day sailing around the lake and then motor up to Lake Union, raft up to the other boats and watch the fireworks.
We have never put in on Lake Washington with a sailboat, and I was wondering which boat launch you guys prefer? I was considering Magnuson Park, since it has 4 ramps and 120 spaces, but maybe there is a better place on the north side of the lake? (we are coming from the east) Best bet is to get there early, since it would really bite to set up your sailboat, launch it, then find out someone took your parking space. :-) Any chance we will see another Monty on the lake on the 4th?
