Hi Charlie, been there and done exactly that. Went compac 16 to M-15 and now M-17. I am very pleased with the sailing qualities of the M boats. My compac16 could not point to save her life or in my case to get under the Chesapeake Bay bridge against the tide. Wish you luck in your search. I am farther south in VA.
