For the record, whild Skip was drifting by, I was being held by a 2kg (4.4lb) Claw anchor on ancient 1/4" line. While carrying a full cockpit length boom tent.
Not that I recommend it. The boom tent idea was Stoopid, and trusting my little anchor in those conditions showed overconidence. But it held!! That little sucker really does the job. On the plus side, I did have my 5kg Claw in the cockpit ready to deploy if necessary. It was a great cruise, with good sailing every day and new and old friends to share it with.
