Hi Ron,

We lived in Munich and had our 29 foot sailboat on the Chiemsee (1967 to
1974). We would have it trucked to Italy, in summer, then sail across
the Adriatic and down the Yugoslavian island chain.

When we were transferred to Paris (1963) I had a Norwegian motorboat
built (SABB 10 HP diesel with variable pitch prop). Took delivery in
Rotterdam and we then went through Holland to the Maas; up the Maas to
Dinant, and then through the French Canal system back to Paris.

Absolutely delightful trip.

Also went down the Seine to Le Havre and back home to Paris several times.
