Call Frank Royce for a CB- he';s probably got the old pattern. He won't
supply the straps but you can make some out of aluminum 1" 1/8- you need to
fit them carefully (look at the grooves inside the trunbk) and make a
compression tube out of stainless or alum tubing with a 1/4" ID, then make a
1/4" pin and peen the whole thing together. YOu need to get the lengths
just right but it's no big deal. We used to make the parts by the dozen
with a cutoff saw and a bending jig. I'd offer to take on the job but I
need a boat here to do it.

Subject: M_Boats: Centerboard repair or replacement for M12?

>
> The centerboard for our M12 broke off the boat during our last sail and we
never did get a good look at how it was all put together. It looks like
some sort of hardware came off of the centerboard. Does anyone out there
have any M12 plans or centerboard pictures or know where I might find
another centerboard or hardware that will work on the M12? Any suggestions
you have would be appreciated. Thanks for the help!! Ranei NomuraEugene,
