Gordon, Thanks for taking the reins on the Apostle trip, If I didn't have a full September booked, I'd be hoping on the bandwagon. I will be up in Duluth the week of August 18th. I plan to haul my M17 out of hibernation, give her a bath, and either head up to Lake Vermillion, or slip in Duluth and sail around the bay area. It will depend upon weather and business commitments. My wife Nancy and I are headed to the twin ports of Duluth-Superior for the tall ship festival Aug 1st. Three big square riggers are coming in and we will tour them all. Then off with another couple to sail their Island Packet 37 for a few days. One note on the Apostles, keep your schedule VERY flexible. Stockton may be only 15 NM from Bayfield but when mighty Superior decides to throw a tantrum, you don't want to be her whipping boy. The 22 group of islands is truly lovely, and all Monty folks should sail them sometime.
