OK, I gotta chime in here. If you guys really want to go to the Apostles, or wherever, consider the difference between what it would have cost last year and what it would cost this year. If you are looking for ways to rationalize the trip, fine, but if you just look at the difference and then apply your government refund check,?it will be a wash. The event will be worth it.
We are?just finishing?Month 2 of a 4 month RV trip, which would be difficult to rationalize if we just looked at this year's cost. BUT, by figuring we were going to do it anyway, and just apply the speed bump of the difference in this year's cost over what it would have cost last year, then it's not all that bad.?This is our eighth summer on the road and if I had to stay home and listen to myself whine about it, I might as well dig a hole and jump in. ?
