Michael, I have a 7.5hp Evinrude (I think I win for biggest!) 2 cycle that came with the boat. My feeling is that it is a bit heavy for the boat and quite a beast in general. But I dock the boat all season so it is not too much of an issue. After reading some of the other comments there may be a 7.5hp coming to my local cragslist soon.
