Dave wrote asking about the Yamaha 2.5 on the M-15 and that is what I am using on mine. I would have preferred a Honda but the Yamaha came with the boat and it fits the bill quite well. The shaft is not a long one, but with the short shaft, in fact I don't even use the braquette in the lowest position. The Yamaha is alright, although alittle quirkey on the starting. It has plenty of power, but as you said, " It would be nice if someone Honda, Nissan, Yamaha) would make one with a fuel pump" and (maybee reverse) ...
