Joe,

I too admire your cruising ability. Keep it up and keep sharing.

Man the 20 lb bruce is definitey heavy ground tackle for an M15.  I carry a 15
lb CQR and think it is over kill.  I use it every night on a cruise and I sure
sleep well.

I would think that an 11 lb bruce would be heavy tackle for an M15.

Oh, don't sell that aluminum danforth type anchor  as someone might actually
think that it is useful.  Put it in the aluminum recyle bin.

Thanks

Hello Joe,

I carry two anchors. The first is a 9 pound Delta with 6 feet of chain and
250 feet of 3/8" nylon rode. The second anchor is a 20 pound Bruce with
150
feet of 1" nylon rode.

Both set perfectly every time.

I have a third aluminum danforth type that I have found to be completely
worthless so I don't carry it.

John
