Uh yeah...I was bored. went out singlehanded with forecast of 15-25 with
gusts to 30 possible. I rigged conservatively so if it materialized I could
handle it. Got up to maybe 15 for an hour or two, then slowly kept backing
off.
So, here I am on a long reach back home, under-canvassed but too lazy to go
forward and put up a genny. I decided as long as I was making 4 knots to go
with it. Dug out the autopilot and the camera of 'Jo's that I broke at the
Cruiser's Challenge (no operating viewfinder) found some sticky back velcro,
thought about the cool Dana 24 kite video, and viola Pole Cam. I think I have
seen this done by Todd Mills before too. So here it is. You can have a good 30
second laugh at a dork with too much time on his hands. I present
POLECAM.......
