Thanks for the kind words Connie. The favored method for old guys is the metal detector and that been very good to me. I also have a stream sluice, highbanker and a bunch of other stuff. But the latter is real hard work.
I posted a nice photo on the Trailer Sailor Montgomery forums. A bunch of nuggets laying on the detector search coil. Pretty stuff if you are into gold. One never knows; the next hole in the ground could have twice that much in it! But I guess that's why it's fun to look. That, and it's $800.00 an ounce at the moment.
