Instead of a golf umbrella, try finding a beach umbrella. I have one about 4' in diameter that doesn't rust. It has a clamp that is designed to attach to a beach chair but can be clamped to a stern rail. (Now I have to get a stern rail..) Joe Seafrog M-17
