I want a Montgomery 17 real bad. How bad? Well; I'm willing to trade a 1993
Nimble Kodiak worth about $10,000 to $15,000 for an M17 of equal or lesser
value as long as it's in sailaway condition. Sure, I'll lose some money on the
deal but I'd rather be sailing a Monty next summer. The Nimble is more boat
than I need and too heavy for my tow vehicle. Not much of a close winded
sailer either. Needs a lot of TLC but nothing major before going in the water.
