I wrote up a test app in Silverlight 4 which works. I have tried this app in Moonlight 2.99.0.8.99 (the nightly build which is waht I develop against) and on occasion going to this page
http://www.infinitespace-online.net/themetestTestPage.html crashes firefox. So that must be the bug. I'll pull together the app and post a link so you can take a look at the code.
