Moose version 2.0900, released as a trial (unindexed) release this weekend, changes the semantics of the "Num" type constraint to be much more strict. The old, more lax behaviour is available as MooseX::Types::LaxNum if you were relying on it.
More details are available at https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=70539 and in Moose::Delta. Please smoke-test this version against your applications, and report any issues to us. We plan to release this as version 2.1000 in approximately a month's time. Thanks again to Upasana Shukla for the implementation! -- "You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats." - colonial American proverb . . . . .
