The point of a framework is not to add everything that you can possibly imagine, but rather to allow you to add what you want or need. Perfection is not attained when there is nothing left to add but rather then there is nothing left to take away. The job of MooTools Core is to allow you to extend it and change it as you see fit. If you want to have this method or others, add it!
