You're not getting the point. The mootab script uses 1.1.2 API, the "opacity on hover" snippet is using 1.2.4 API - you cannot use both on the same page. Port one or the other script to use a single MooTools version. Preferable 1.2.4+ as 1.1.2 is deprecated and not supported anymore.
