You should really try to learn git and use github, once you did that you
can't live without anymore! Get started with git at:
http://www.git-scm.com/and this is a very good read:
http://progit.org/book/ besides that there's plenty information on github
how to setup git and work with github: http://help.github.com/

Once you have that, it isn't very difficult to put your plugin on github.
