++ I think jquery got so popular because of wordpress. I also think it's impossible to try and be on the level as where jquery is at the moment as far as nr of times it's being used/implemented. And I also think you shouldn't turn it into a competition (again) or some '-vs-' thing, but I think everyone agrees about that. Finally I think a lot of people are just happy with what they can do with <framework here> that is not mootools and they aren't particular looking for anything else. I mean, web developers will find the tool they think is right for them or the job in the end.. they might start of with framework X and end with framework Z and use that one for a while etc. There are a zillion "simple" websites out there that don't need something more advanced and only need some photo-gallery tool etc. Usually they are wordpress based anyway (at the moment at least), so it's probably jquery ;)
If only we could slow down time, then we could do some great stuff.. I could work on cpojer's mobile and florence's slideshow at the same time AND do my day job + other stuff I have to do in my life hehehe On Apr 4, 6:12 pm, Aaron Newton <aa...@iminta.com> wrote: > I hate to say it, but this is precisely what we don't want.
