Hello epsi I have a little experience about Lightbox and Modal Windows and i don't know what type of applications is your Symfony...
So my first answer is... depends. If you are looking for a Modal Window you can give a look at - Clientcide StickyWin.UI (http://dev.clientcide.com there are many way to use StickyWin try StickyWin.UI) - Then give a look at SimpleModal windows http://simplemodal.plasm.it/ If you are looking for a Lightbox/Gallery Window you can give a look at - cerabox at http://cerabox.net/ We use all them for our different application. They perform well and they use last mootools release. I hope that could be a good way to start for your search. Remember that there are other good plugin. At the end...say us what you choose.
