Hello Channing,
I saw "The life and Death of Peter Sellers" here in australia a couple of
months ago at the cinema, and I have to say it was wonderful!  Geoffrey Rush
was amazing in it, and I hope that he is nominated for an Academy Award -
his interpretations of Sellers and other characters that Sellers played is
spooky with how accurate he was.   Charlie Theron does an excellent part
also!
I'd have to say that Dr. STrangelove is one of my all time fave Peter
Sellers movies, and I love the poster for that film too.

Hello MOPOers --
 Roger Ebert mentioned that Peter Sellers was a person who was
universally disliked by those who knew him personally but gave
tremendous pleasure to the world through his talent. Since the
overwhelming majority of us never knew him as anything other than a
wonderful actor it's very easy to remember what a talented and
delightful performer he was. As a child of the 1960s, Peter Sellers was
one of my real stars -- I especially remember enjoying the following
films:
The Pink Panther
Dr. Strangelove
A Shot in the Dark
The World of Henry Orient
Casino Royale
The Party
I Love You Alice B. Toklas
Return of the Pink Panther
Murder By Death
Being There
I saw many of these on their first theatrical release -- as a group
they are a testimony to the range and talent of this wonderful actor!
I will be seeing the film THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS in a
theatrical screening tomorrow night in San Francisco.  I'm especially
excited to see Charlize Theron's interpretation of Britt Eklund. . .
should be terrific!
