well joking aside, I took a minute to look at the IMDB and yes disney did apparently direct more films than I thought.. however my statement was fundamentally correct as only 9 cartoons post 1920's were directed by him, 7 are short cartoons before 1935, the other 2 are war propaganda films of the 40's and in other words... DISNEY DID NOT DIRECT ANY OF THE FILMS HIS STUDIO IS FAMOUS FOR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF STEAMBOAT WILLIE and even the great Barnyard Concert from 1930, which was a ground breaking cartoon to many at the time is forgotten today. So though I might have been wrong about his not being a director except for a few shorts was incorrect (the IMDB has him as director of 112 cartoons, but more than 90% IS before 1930), my statement that he is essentially known as a producer and not a director and I could therefore in no way justify him among the 10 best directors, though I would without question recommend him as one of the top ten producers of all time (along with the likes of Cecil B. DeMille, David O Selznick, D.W. Griffith, John Ford, Irwin Allen, Orson Welles). But as a director.. no. Not anymore than most would say Paul Henried is a top director instead of a pretty good actor, even though his directing was pretty darn ood. (to note, he acted in 47 films, but he directed 100's of films ((including Dead Ringer with Bette Davis)) and tv episodes ((including some of the most popular episodes of the Alfred Hitchcock show)).
so Disney doesn't cut it as a top ten director! but there is no question, he is one of the most influential producers & creators in the history of film.

the other day I almost though I had one.. the Guy told me He rented Bigger than life Hollywood heads...
he seemed to be real excited crank yanking the old movie Guy,,,..........
well it could be worse... all our Homeland security Guys could retire and leave us defenceless..
that will never happen ... I am just tooo quick to get spooked....
