My son 17 ( high scholl senior) who will be 18 -Dec 23 - Just finished
a special college 16mm film course.( he received a grant). he shot his
1st 16mm film short
called " Mickey and the Robot" about a guy that buys a maiorder robot to
detox him ( a buddy film) when the film wwas shown he said they laughed
where he wanted Laughs.. and actually applauded DURING the FILM!! what
more could he ask for???? well More TOOLS!
the class was mostly 20 and up age group( he was the only kid.. out of
the class of 23+ students
Tommy received one of 4 a's given in the entire class// Plus he received
a B+ im the Class.
The College has accepted him in the Digital video class next semester..
he wasnts to shot some features and i think he will do some great stuff
if he has the Tools.
I wish to give him the tools and so I want to turn these Hollywood Icons
into Dream Fufillment. as he has clearly shown talent even under adverse
conditions has produced subject without assisitance from anyone. His
teacher was very supportive as was the other kids that acted in the
film. as ant filmaker knows its many conditions workong out that make a
good film and also creativity covering things that were not meant to
be...I am sure Tommy will share the film after he transfers to Video. It
was a silent film in B&w and Color about 12 mins.
