I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Saul H. Chapman PhD. As a result of his post yesterday (which I originally thought went only to me), I've been deluged with emails from people who have been looking (some for many years) for the 6-sheet from The Chapman Report. Luckily (for me), most missed spotting it in Bruce's auction. This was probably due to the huge number of items! I was also lucky that Saul H. Chapman PhD made a counter offer, which constituted a rejection of my original offer to sell to him. (Sometimes my legal training comes in handy!)
Anywho, I've agreed to sell it to the highest offer of the many who contacted me. That offer was in the neighborhood of several hundred dollars! My Xmas will be a bit more merry as a result! I didn't give a second thought to selling because, as Saul pointed out, it's hideously ugly with many folds & it will cost a fortune to linenback.
I'm so glad now that I bid on this spontaneously like a mere amateur, even though I've been collecting for over 30 years! I'm also so glad that Saul rejected my original offer! Thanks again to Saul H. Chapman PhD!

Ah, "The Chapman Report." Chris, I suspect it may also actually have been you who bid it up when it was comfortably at $2.25 and in my hands. In any event, you appear to have made an impulsive purchase. SEX, large, and Jane Fonda not withstanding. And now you're asking me to relieve you from the consequences of your inability to inhibit your "spontaneity"? I don't mean to be harsh but you're not doing me any real favor here by asking me to pay what you've paid ... Christmas spirit or not. I'll give you $6.00 for the poster and $6.00 for S&H and allow you to eat the remaining $5 to $7 and change as a lesson about acting like an amateur in the heat of an auction. You should know better. I at least have an excuse. I've only been collecting for about two years.
