2004 & British Movie Poster Book
A definitive history of
British movie posters does exist. The problem is it has been written, but not
published. Greg Edwards, author the the seminal and highly influential book The
International Movie Poster (published in the mid 80s) is the author of the
manuscript and it will stay in that form until he finds a publisher. Regards,
rudy franchi

[MOPO] Top RANKING 2004 & British Movie Poster Book

Hello Fellow Mopo Gang,
/x-tad-bigger>/fontfamily>
/x-tad-bigger>/fontfamily>
I was wondering about something very
unusual. Maybe I am missing something. I have most movie poster books and
auction books out there but there is NOT one single book dedicated solely on
British movie poster art. I am talking about only British posters, like quads.
I think the British quads have amazing art work and I treasure very highly.

If anyone can tell me about any books
dedicated to British art poster, please let me know. There are a lot of German
and other country movie poster art books out there but nothing British. Maybe
Tony or Bruce can dedicate a book just on British poster art work.

I love to hear from anyone. By the
way, I watched Aviator and it is just amazing. By the way, we will have to rank
everyone's TOP 10 MOVIE and TOP 10 MOVIE POSTERS of 2004.

Thanks
