I fear that "the WB" will inject a healthy dose of hip-hop influence along with the new character make-overs, as they seem to do with most of their TV programming. While many of these shows rank at the bottom in the Nielsons, they seem hell bent on continuing the trend. I doubt the new Bugs will have the "same wit, etc", because the original Looney Toons were made for adults, and the subsequent 60yrs of children's viewing was an accidental crossover. The success of Sponge Bob, and others is because someone was smart enough to run with the formula. Adult humor that goes over kids heads, with funny characters that kids like. My 3yr. old loves the original Warner characters because they are funny, and I expose them to him. He is also a big fan of "The Little Rascals" (talk about a different era)! I bought the Hal Roach tapes before I was even married, because they were no longer on television and I hoped someday to have a kid who could enjoy them as we all did. The bottom lin! e is the bottom line. Warner is not trying to make another timeless masterpiece, they want to sell more action figures to a generation they are helping to "dummy down". Kenny
