Kirby has a great idea. I bought some flat files at various used office furniture stores in my area. Most of them were in really great shape and about 75% less than a new one. I bought one that had a bit of rust and scraping on the inside of the drawers. I took it to Earl Schieb auto paint store and for $75 they stripped it and repainted it and it looks like new. I lined the drawers with the same kind of paper you put in kitchen drawers and it came out great for way less than new ones. Sue Heimwww.hollywoodposterframes.com(800) 463-2994

If you are near Austin, Texas, call TOPS at   512 472 1340.  Virtually
all of the flat files we own have come from them.  Great used office
furniture at a fraction of what it costs new.
