The 13th Annual Vintage Poster Art Auction is now available for online bidding. The auction will be held Saturday, May 28th, in Columbus, Ohio, in conjunction with the 37th Annual Cinevent.
Among the highlights of the auction are the following:
SON OF KONG 3-sheet, Style A, 1933
SON OF KONG 3-sheet, Style B, 1933
TILLIE'S PUNCTURED ROMANCE 1-sheet, 1928, starring W.C. Fields
BULLETS OR BALLOTS 3-sheet, 1936, starring Edward G. Robinson & Humphrey Bogart
These four posters are possibly the only copies that exist. None of these posters have previously been offered for sale at auction.
Bidding is available by mail, fax, telephone, and Internet, as well as live. Online bidding will end at midnight on Friday, May 27th, and the high bid will compete against the live bidding, if any. Internet proxy bids will only be increased one increment over the second highest bid.
