These kinds of lists are ridiculous on their face, anyway. I suspect
that they
were trying to put their own stamp on the list. There are some
wonderful films on this list and some idiosyncratic choices.

list that was all things to all people, and ended up with a mongrel
that may be "interesting" but which don't really hunt as the "Best 100
films of All Time". Of course, no one would ever agree on the exact
makeup of such a list, that's far too personal, but even a first year
college film student could come up with a better overall selection
than this. A pitiful effort, really.
