Most sellers I've dealt with don't even mention the condition of the back. It's hard enough dealing with the front. I don't consider back conditions much either when selling, or buying.

 

I've purchased from Deke and Bruce and Fred and Hazelton and...etc, etc, etc and received items with stuff written on the back never mentioned by these reputable sellers. It probably never occured to them to bring it up. It never bothered me. I have never looked at a poster and wondered what the back side is like.

 

...So, if you see a poster with substantial, substantial, substantial writing on the back AND IT DOES NOT BLEED THROUGH, would you buy it ???...   

 

Sure. I would. But if it really bothered me I'd give it to Dario to linenback and restore.

ISSUE:   Does the condition of the back of a poster matter?  by that i mean, does substantial writing on the back of a poster affect the price?    we have all seen that often the back of a poster has been used to announce someone's birthday party, or even an upcoming event or movie.   So, if you see a poster with substantial, substantial, substantial writing on the back AND IT DOES NOT BLEED THROUGH, would you buy it ???
