I think you misinterpreted what I was getting at. JR is
correct. Neither JR nor I want to deny anyone the right to make money and
frankly I admire people who can make money. When I asked the question I
was alluding to the following: Here Dave was telling MoPo members to
please note that the poster he placed on ebay was sold even though the auction
had ended. Considering that most mopo people are astute poster watchers
and especially high end material, everyone must have known he bought the
poster not long ago for $7500 on ebay. He made a nice profit and now is
telling mopo people that he wants more of the same. There is nothing wrong
with what he is doing at all. What I was getting at was --this is supposed
to be an astute poster group. Therefore why is he asking the group to sell
him posters at a low price so he can sell them at a high price? Doesn't he
give the group more credit than that? That was all. While we are at
it, maybe it was a good idea after all and I should take a cue from
him. Anyone have a 1947 one sheet of Dracula under $10,000 for me?
