Good Lord, I am so tired of seeing posts that blame Bush and every elected politician under him for this disaster. If people want to discuss this thing, please take it to a news message board or anywhere else but MOPO. I don't mind the posts telling us how to help and I really wanted to make sure MOPO members are OK, but those posts are drowned out by everyone of every pollitical persuasion defending their position. This ain't the place for that.
I'm a New Orleans native, and I know good and well, as do many other locals, that this problem was left festering for decades. I hate to say it but Louisiana is a very backward state in many areas and LOTS of folks are to blame for never preparing for the inevitable. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop arguing about this here, it's ticking off everyone and it is ruining MOPO.
