Natalie,
Sad to say, my experience is that there's no point in wasting your time
reporting something like this to eBay. If the damage is so bad you don't want to
keep the item, tell the seller you want to return it for a full refund. If they
argue with you -- and you paid with PayPal -- just file a "buyer complaint" with
PayPal before 30 days have elapsed.

Subject: [MOPO] "Item not as described"
reporting
Ever filed a report or is not worth the hassle? I got a book in
the mail, and the pen scribble all over the back cover wasn't mentioned in
the item description. I suspect it was an oversight by the seller, we have
dealt with no problems before, but she doesn't even seem to care that she;
a) overlooked adding this to the description or b) that I paid for the book
in good faith believing it would match up to it's desciption. She only
responded to the second email I sent, then didn't even respond to that
reply, which outlined
my concerns.
