For local folks, Posteritati Movie Posters
is proud to present BLONDES, BLOOD & BLACKMAIL, a
new exhibition showcasing vintage international movie posters from the
films of Alfred Hitchcock, presented in conjunction with Film
Forum's ongoing "Essential Hitchcock"
retrospective. The exhibition
opened on December 10, 2005 at the Posteritati Gallery in New York
City and features posters from over 25 different countries spanning
The Master's entire film career, including original posters from a
host of Hitchcock masterworks including Notorious, North by
Northwest, To Catch a Thief, The Birds, Frenzy, Rear Window, Psycho,
Vertigo and more. Featuring iconic images of Hitchcock's blonde
stars and brooding leading men, the posters evoke the classic imagery
of Hollywood and Hitchcock's signature combination of violence and
glamour.
Happy hunting and holidays!
