Speaking of Willie Wonka, we just watched Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory last night. What an awful movie. And
after the self-righteous tone Tim Burton put on about how
awful the first film (Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory)
was. He complained that they changed things from the
original story. Apparently only changes that *he* doesn't
come up with are bad. Because this new version differs
from the book in any number of ways, most especially this
whole backstory about Willie Wonka's father.
I want my two hours back.
