The facts and foibles of auctions never cease to bewilder me. Here's a WEREWOLF OF LONDON half sheet I've been tracking, folded with quite a few small tears and pinholes, which has a starting bid at Heritage of $920 (with buyer's premium):

And yet, just a mere short 4 months ago Heritage sold this same half-sheet, rolled with no folds or tears and virtually no condition issues for $862.50 (including buyer's premium) with 5 bids competing:

...so, is the inflation in RealArt horror paper really all *that* severe, or is this just a case of the seller insisting on an unrealistically high reserve?
