I also have Underwater lobbies that are glossy, as is the one sheet, half sheet, and 8"x 10" I have on this title.
Very cool paper for this movie.

Hey Dave,I have lobbies from that film and they are the same as yours. I also have a one sheet from the film that is glossy stock. So, I believe it's common.Sue----- Original Message -----From: Dave RosenSent: Wednesday, March 22, 2006 11:37 AMSubject: [MOPO] Help: Glossy lobby cards?Hi, all:I have a question related to some lobbies I just picked up.I acquired three cards from Underwater, the RKO/Howard Hughes/Jane Russell scuba movie. Oddly (to me anyway), these cards are printed on glossy paper, as opposed to the matte cardstock I'm accustomed to. Since these are the first ! cards I've handled for this film, I was wondering whether this was how they were originally issued.Or were they originally issued as normal and then re-issued as glossies? Or are these from a later re-release? Or what? I don't think they're repros as they show some age and wear. But they are un-numbered and there is no NSS info on them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!Dave RosenPosteropolisVisit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
