Gordon,
You might want to photograph the glass slides on a
lightbox, so you could see the images real good.

Subject: [MOPO] Glass Slide images
Hello everyone,
I'm hoping that some of you fine folks will be
able to give me some advice. Recently, my collection of memorabilia has
branched out and now includes a few glass slides. As will everything
that I've collected, I try to take digital images of each item so I have a
record of everything in my collection. With a digital camera and a large
bed scanner I've covered just about everything so far. But glass slides
have me stumped. Obviously I can take a photo of the slide as an item,
but I'm not sure how to capture the image of the artwork itself. What
have other folks done that has been successful? All comments would be
appreciated?
