1937 window card from A Day at the Races with the Marx Brothers, a 1951 Jumbo
window card from a roadshow of Frankenstein, Breakfast at Tiffany's 1961 German
1 sheet, Swedish 1 sheet for Fritz Lang's early sci-fi treat A Woman in the
Moon from 1929, lobby cards from Charlie Chan's Courage - a lost film, Lobby
cards from such titles as Baroness & the Butler, Bob Steele in Big Calibre,
Blue Dahlia, Murder My Sweet, Sign of the Cross, White Sister, Under-Cover Man,
Secret Six, Smart Money & Jamaica Inn.
We put together a special section of over 50 auctions on
Alfred Hitchcock, Marilyn Monroe and Saul Bass movie posters & lobby
cards..
There are some wonderful 1930's vintage paintings of Jean
Harlow, Clark Gable & Claudette Colbert and a huge jam packed session of
Horror & Sci-Fi posters. Creature From the Black Lagoon, Frankensetin,
Monster That Challenged the World, Incredible Shrinking Man storyboards,
Destination Moon, Deadly Mantis, Dr Who & the Daleks and there is even a
tri-folded NM 1 sheet for Viking Women & the Sea Serpent.
There is a selection of rare Black Mask pulps with some of
the greatest stories ever adapted into film, including 2 episodes of the
Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. Rare Dracula & Frankenstein photoplay
editions, and the Rare 1927 edition of Dracula with the mention of the play on
the back.
There is a grouping of Australian Daybills with titles
that include the Brasher Doubloon, Bush Christmas & 2001 A Space Oddyssey,
plus 1 sheets of Across the Pacific with Bogart, Revenge of the Creature, the
Damned Don't Cry & Captain From Castile.
