It would be cool if others mentioned MPB on their "About Me" page, too.

Like most eBay store owners on this forum (mine is a whole 2 months old) mulling over the sting of yet another eBay betrayal and trying to decide to jump ship or not, Rich and I had an eMail exchange concerning keeping a store front on both eBay and MPB. Using eBay to drive more poster collectors over to MPB. We both seem to agree that having storefronts on both might be beneficial. Thus, the new "About Me" page re-do. Right now I'll continue the eBay Store while planning the opening of Big Town Branch #2 on MPB. As long as I can afford eBay's, I'll keep it.

Why am I not just bailing eBay? Is any MoPo Storefronter bailing because of the latest betrayal? I'd like to hear about it. My problem with bailing right now (and others may agree with me here) is I'm doing pretty darn well as a eBay storekeeper. People are actually visiting my store and purchasing my items. Yes, I'm selling stuff without going through the eBay "core" auction format. Wherein lies the whole problem for eBay. Too bad for them. They created this monster, they must learn to co-exist.But they won't. They can't. They don't know how. eBay will end up killing mine and other's stores eventually, but for now I'll stick with the worse landlord since Snidely K. Whiplash.

MPB Special Event is alot of fun thus far. TONS of great stuff. I wasn't part of the "EVENT" initially, but I know a good thing when I see it and I can be good at band wagon jumping, so with Rich's sufferance, (Thanks Rich. Party On!) I listed 20+ items that sorta fit in to the theme and aura of the thing, all closing Sunday evening when all the other great stuff closes.
