Just wanted to let everyone know that eBay, in its infinite wisdom, pulled my auction this morning, as they thought that I was trying to avoid paying eBay fees by charging $40 for shipping, which is about the norm for a poster shipped overnight or two-day FedEx in a five pound, 2" PVC tube with PVC endcaps.  If they had looked at the Buy It Now price, which was set at $1650, how could I possibly be trying to shortchange them on fees anyway?  Oh well, eBay hasn't always been the prime example of a perfect retail system.

So, one of two things will happen:  I will wait for them to put the auction back up, hopefully within 24 hours, based on my response to their actions, or I will relist it, with a detailed description of why the shipping charges cost the amount I charge.  If you ask any of my previous customers, you will find out that my posters are delivered in the exact shape they are described, and that all of them are more than happy to pay the little extra for the extra care I put into shipping them.  Having received endless posters from eBay sellers who have no idea what they are doing, this is the one area I will never compromise.  And I would hope that my customers, after spending $1k  or more on a poster, doesn't mind spending an extra $10-15 to make sure it gets there perfectly.

So I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and will have it rectified within the next 24 hours.

Best regards,

Steve
