Howdy y'all, Posters ... are just paper with some ink; in the big scheme of things, ther is absolutely no comparison to health / life.
Hearts ... A "cabbage" (CABG ... Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) is still a heckuva operation, despite the medical advances and the technology. The CABG process involves cutting the breast plate, exposing the heart; and grafting veins harvested from other parts (legs usually) of same body, to bypass the unsalvageable blood vessels, leaving a railroad-type scar. Stents (think ... expandable chicken wire) are normally placed during the catheterization process to avoid a greater invasive procedure such as a CABG. If this person, Frank Santos, (had both procedures done in a relatively short time (or at the same time) ... this person is truly acutely ill ... and I wish this person Godspeed, if that should be the case. However, there are computers everywhere, even in a hospital, and I cannot fathom any justification for a lack of communication. Meanwhile, back at the ranch ... a 'lil background ... I work as a respiratory therapist in a local hospital, and coincidentally, my assignment for the entire weekend ... is in CVRU (CardioVascular Recovery Unit), and I'll probably be extubating some post-op CABG patients. Heads ... use your noggin concerning your health (and choosing your restorer). ad __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
