Mopo-ers,
I received a few emails within about 1/2 hour of sending this message
out yesterday. Since that time I have not received one message from
the MOPO group on this or any other topic, now almost exactly 24
hours. Don't know if there is a MOPO problem (in which case this post
probably won't get seen), a problem with my email account receiving
MOPO emails, or if it has just been slow going for postings on MOPO in
the past day.
At any rate, if by chance anyone has tried to contact me within the
past day regarding any of these items, please try contacting me again
at a different email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

For what it is worth, both of the Bogart cards are sold, all other
items are still available.

Hello Mopo folks,
I have a few nice posters and lobby cards that I thought I would
offer to MOPO members for sale privately, just to try something
different. Sci-fi/horror and some great noir/neo-noir titles,
etc.. All U.S. material as follows:
(1) _Curse Of The Demon_ 1957 1-sheet, Near Mint +, unused, no
pinholes, tiny 1/8-inch tear in upper border. Virtually no fold
wear, clean and white. Impressive, finest copy I've seen. $1,000.

(2) _This Island Earth_ 1964R 1-sheet, Near Mint, unused, no
pinholes, 1/4-inch tear in upper border at center fold. Virtually
no fold wear, clean and white. Same art as the 1956 1-sheet, but
red and blue duotone. Nice piece for 1/10th the cost of the
original. $150.

(3) _High Sierra_ 1941 BEST scene lobby card, Near Mint/Mint,
unused, no pinholes. Close-up portrait scene of Bogart and Lupino
in front of bus. Spectacular Warner Bros. linen card with minimal
toning -- unless you pull one of these out of the paper sleeve of
an unused set, you won't find a finer copy. $1,000.

(4) _Out Of The Past_ 1947 scene lobby card, Near Mint, unused, no
pinholes. One of the better cards in the set featuring Mitchum and
Greer in the casino. A few light abrasions in upper border,
otherwise Near Mint/Mint. $300.

(5) _Murder My Sweet_ 1944 BEST scene lobby card, Excellent +, 3
pinholes. Classic suggestive noir scene with Dick Powell lighting
Claire Trevor's cigarette. $200.

(6) _Kiss Of Death_ 1947 insert, 3 standard folds, Very Good+, no
pinholes, a few clean tears w/white tape repairs on back.
Widmark's classic debut as Tommy Udo, tough noir title to find
paper on. Stark in color and design, but unlike the 1-sheet the
insert at least has a bit of green and yellow. $450.

(7) _How Green Was My Valley_ 1941 scene lobby card, Near
Mint/Mint, unused, no pinholes. One of the better cards in the set
featuring O'Hara, McDowall, Pidgeon, and just about everybody
except Crisp. $125.

(8) _Sundown_ 1941 insert, Very Fine, paper-backed by Studio C.
Prior to backing poster was very clean with no pinholes or edge
tears, 3 standard folds, with a small tear in Cabot's helmet on
center fold. Touch-up to this tear and the horizontal folds as is
typical. Borders were not airbrushed at my request to maintain
original background/border colors. Scarce original 1941 release
poster for this title with one of the most beautiful portraits of
a young Gene Tierney ever put on paper. Still sealed in shrinkwrap
as received from Studio C. Ships flat, requires 5 lbs. shipping
charges. Will not ship outside U.S. due to package size. $450.

(9) _One Girl's Confession_ 1953 insert, rolled, Fine/Very Fine, 1
tiny pinhole at the edge of Moore's forearm. Poster looks to have
had one light center fold and also has a few light horizontal
bends, but has been stored flat and displays very much like a
rolled copy. Minor and light professional pencil touch on Cleo
Moore's sweater. The other poster sizes for this title have
completely different and far less effective graphics. Although
this poster does not receive much recognition, this insert (and
the 3-sheet) sports one of the all-time great "bad girl" images in
a full-length format (cool tagline too). $275.

(10) _The Oklahoma Kid_ 1939 scene lobby card, Very Good minus,
tear and pinholes as can be seen in image (have included a larger
image on this one). Best Bogart card in the set. I have listed
this card numerous times on eBay with no success, and while not
perfect, it is still a very respectable example of a very tough
Bogart card. Now lowering the price to a giveaway level, hoping
that someone will give it a good home before I use it to wrap
fish. $150.
