Any poll in which THE FIGHT CLUB is named the fourth best

film of all time is.....NUTZ.

My opinion.

Goodfellas named 'greatest movie'

Martin Scorsese's gangster film Goodfellas has been named the greatest movie
of all time in a poll for Total Film magazine.

The 1990 film, which won an Oscar for supporting actor Joe Pesci, topped the
list compiled by film experts.

"It is slick, arguably the slickest film ever made. But it is also
considered, layered and freighted with meaning," a Total Film spokesman
said.

Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo was ranked second and Jaws was third.

A magazine spokesman said: "Choosing the final 100 provoked endless rows and
debates but we think we've put together the definitive list."

He added: "Goodfellas has it all - story, dialogue, performances,
technique."

The film was based on the life of gangster Henry Hill and starred Ray Liotta
and Robert De Niro.

Total Film's top 100 list contained some surprises - the Humphrey Bogart
classic Casablanca only made number 98 while Lawrence of Arabia, starring
Peter O'Toole, was in 77th position.

is a Total Flim Magazine in the US also, has anything similar been done for
you guys?
